Mary O. Orwig of Warren passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in her residence. She was 84. Mrs. Orwig was born in Olive Hill, Ky.

on March 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Louis and Eva Holbrook Mays. Mary worked for Packard Electric for 28 years as an inspector in department 21 until her retirement in 1982. Mary enjoyed doing various crafts, especially creating ceramics, and crocheting.

Most importantly, she loved spending her time creating memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband, Harry R. Orwig, Sr. whom she married in 1951, passed away on November 24, 2009. She is survived by, 4 children, Lois J. Malaska of Niles, Gary R. (Beverly) Orwig, Sr. of Warren, John.

L. Orwig, Sr. of Warren, and Harry R. Orwig, Jr. of Niles; 1 brother, Rondal R. (Carol) Mays of Niles; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Mays Jr.; and a sister, Bernice Abbott.
