Mary C. Kleiss, age 62, a resident of Royal Oak, died February 4, 2019 at her home. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Dennis F. Kleiss (d. 8/5/2013); the couple married June 24, 1978 at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak.

She was the loving mother of Cathy )Andrew) Bartley and the late Regis Kleiss; proud grandmother of Elizabeth and Greyson; dear sister of Mary Doehring, Barbara Rydock, Thomas (Betty) Hulbert, the late Kathy (Rick, still living) Werden and the late William Hulbert. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was born and raised in Royal Oak.

She loved spending time with her animals and being outdoors in nature. Mary was an enjoyed her flower gardens and was a member of the Royal Oak Nature Society. Visitation Thursday 1 pm until time of funeral service 7 pm, at the Wm.

Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. Burial Friday 10 am at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorials to the family, ALS of Michigan, New Beginnings Animal Rescue in Royal Oak or Bassett Hound Rescue of Michigan are appreciated.
