OBITUARY Mary E. Dugan November 18, 1916 – November 7, 2018 Mary E. Dugan, Des Moines Mary Elizabeth Dugan, 101, passed away November 7, 2018 at Bishop Drumm. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Mary was born November 18, 1916 in Rippey, IA to John and Bertha Dugan.

She graduated from Rippey High School and made it a point to attend her class reunions, especially in her later years. Mary moved to Des Moines to attend AIB. Following graduation she worked for the Federal Government in the IRS division.

She enjoyed politics and was a strong Democrat, going to Prairie Meadows, and playing sports (especially) tennis. Mary is survived by her nephew, John (Rita) Luther and their children, Kristin and Terry Luther; nephew, Gary Hensyel and his children, Jeff Hensyel and Katie (Dustin) Lindgren; nephews Dennis and Richard Dugan; and four great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dwight; and sister, Dorotha.

FAMILY Mary is survived by her nephew, John (Rita) Luther and their children, Kristin and Terry Luther; nephew, Gary Hensyel and his children, Jeff Hensyel and Katie (Dustin) Lindgren; nephews Dennis and Richard Dugan; and four great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dwight; and sister, Dorotha.
