Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Alvey RICHMOND, Ind. – Mary Elizabeth Alvey, age 60, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Reid Health. Born March 23, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana, to Jeff and Jane Crawford Saylor, Mary was a life-long resident of this community.

She formerly worked at the Blue Note Restaurant, 76 Truck Stop, Forest Hills Country Club, and Cinram. Mary enjoyed collecting movies and gardening. She loved animals, especially her dogs.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane Ann Wicks of Richmond; son, Donald Wicks of Richmond; siblings, Ruth Miller, Jeff Saylor, Donna Saylor, and Rosalie Smith, all of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David E. Saylor; and great-nephew, Thomas Miller III. Visitation for Mary Elizabeth Alvey will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Jon Bennett officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www. doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
