Mary Elizabeth Miller, age 103, of Adrian, MI, passed away, June 26, 2018, peacefully in her home. She was born January 27, 1915, in North Manchester, IN, the daughter of Lawrence Emery & Evah Mae (Grossnickel) Miller. On December 26, 1930, she married Oscar K. Miller, he preceded her in death on March 28, 1991.

Mary was a homemaker that lived out her days independently maintaining her own home. She enjoyed reading her bible daily, sewing, putting puzzles together, listen to gospel music, watching cooking shows and collecting recipes and cooking. Mary loved to share her life stories and life experiences with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Druckenmiller, two daughters in law, Helen Miller and Melanie Miller and many generations of grandchildren and one brother, Harold Conrad. In addition to her husband Oscar, she was preceded in death by five children, Dorothy (Jack) Sinclair, Alva (Willard) Brenke, Melvin Miller, Karen (Reid) Salsbury and Robert Miller and son in law Larry Druckenmiller. Mary’s final wishes were to be cremated and to be laid to rest with her husband Oscar.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday July 14, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Kristen Coristine officiating from First United Methodist Church in Blissfield. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be held at Deefield Cemetery at a later date.
