Mary’s Obituary Mrs. Mary Emmett Driver, age 96, of Macon, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Riverside Health and Rehab. Mrs. Driver was born May 2, 1922, in Porterdale Ga, to the late Lucius E. and Linnie L. Emmett. She retired as Manager from Macy’s in Macon, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Macon GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Driver. Survivors are her daughters, Patricia (Frank) Patterson and Susan Linder both of Macon; son, Wayne Driver of Forsyth; sister-in-law, Mattilue Emmett of Thomaston; nephew, Jerry Emmett of Thomaston; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Driver will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home.

There will be a private burial service held later. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Upson Cancer Car c/o Cary Pitts, 300 Upson Ave, Thomaston GA 30286.
