MARY’s Obituary Mary Grace Allen 90, of Barefoot Bay, Florida passed away peacefully May 10, 2019. She was born in Boston Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John W. Allen, Sr

She is survived by her son John Allen and wife Linda, daughters June Allen, Helene Cohan and husband Jerre, Betty Kulesza and husband Ernie and Lillian Allen. She was predeceased by daughters Carolyn and Joanne, grandchildren David and Aimee Osowiecki and sisters Madeline Nevins and Helene Gilday. Besides her children she had 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She attended Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing. Before retiring to Florida 30 years ago she and her family resided in Terryville Connecticut for most of her life. She was an active member of the Red Hats Organization for several years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and crafts. Together with her husband they enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 18, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Saint Helens Catholic Church, 1201 19th Pl, Vero Beach, Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
