Mary’s Obituary Ciernia, Mary H. Ciernia (Rzeszutek) age 89 of Apple Valley. Proud member of the All Saints Alumni club, died unexpectedly after a short battle with cancer. Preceded in death by husband, Peter; parents, John and Sophie and six siblings.

Survived by children, Carleen Schelitzche (Jim Babb) and Dan Ciernia (Felice); grandsons, Andy (Nichole) and Jesse (Jessica); great-granddaughters, Zoey, Nelva, Greta, and Nora; great-grandson Zachary; and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Ecumen Centennial House for the loving way in which they have cared for our mom over the past six and a half years. They would also like to thank the Ecumen Hospice Team for the loving and compassionate care that they gave to Mary and her family over the past week.

Memorial service 11 AM Friday, May 31 at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling at a later date.
