Mary Jane Ransier died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Brian’s House in Esville at the age of 88 years. She was born July 7, 1929 to the late Rufus and Delema (McNally) Link in Bay County. After graduating from Mercy Central School of Nursing, she was employed at the former Mercy Hospital for 26 years from which she retired as Head Nurse in 1976.

She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. Joseph Church), the St. Anne Society, the League of Catholic Women and Men, and the Legion of Mary. … Read More » On December 30, 1949, she married Robert Ransier and they shared their lives together for over 61 years before he preceded her in death on August 8, 2011. She leaves three children to cherish her memory: Marcia Stevenson, Terry Ransier, and Karen (John) Klapish; four grandchildren: Jeff Stevenson, Katrina Reimer, Kevin (Becca) Klapish, and Katie Klapish; six great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; her brothers-in-law: Lawrence Klass and Bill Ransier; sisters-in-law: Rita Link, Joyce (John) Fournier, Betty Haga; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son: Jeffrey Ransier; her grandson: Jason Stevenson; sisters: Vivian Gwiazda and Roberta Klass; brother: Rufus Link; and stepfather: Raymond Rasmer. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Jude Parish (St.John Church) 614 Pine St., Essexville. Rev.

Dale A. Orlik will preside and with interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Family Wishes. Visitation will be in church on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of the service.
