Obituary for Mary Jo Mitchell Print Mary Jo Mitchell, 97 of Crooked Creek departed this life Monday January 28, 2019 at the Dignity Hospice House at Chapmanville. She was born October 7, 1921 at Crooked Creek to the late Lewis Marshall and Martha Florence McDonald Hainor. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Nathan Mitchell; brothers, Mack Brock Garrett, Bob Hainor, Marshall Hainor, Rex Hainor, and Hugh Hainor; sisters, Pearl Shannon; and niece, Sarah Martin.

Mary was a member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. She is survived by: her nieces, Rosemary Matthews, Julia Gothard, Alice Jane Hainor, and Julia Russi; nephew, John Hainor; great-nephews, Earnest Martin III, Mark Russi, and Gregory Russi; and great-niece, Julia Beth Russi. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ with Pastor Ralph Perry officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church. Online condolences may be left at www.
