Mary Katherine Orten, age 91, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Orten was born on May 28, 1926 in Trigg County, KY to the late William Henry Davis and Cordie Williams Davis. She worked for many years as a baker at Pennyrile State Park and was a member of Landmark Apostolic Church for more than 50 years.

Mrs. Orten was a 1944 graduate of Dawson Springs High School. Preceding Mrs. Orten in death were her parents; her husband ~ John Earl Orten; two sisters ~ Edna Stallins and Cecil Fields; two brothers ~ Eugene Davis and Paul Ray Davis.

Visitation for Mrs. Mary Katherine Orten will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Brian Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Edwards, Ashley Adams, Jim Edwards and Brad Fields, Gerald Bennett and Marquise Johnson.
