Obituary for Mary M. Kerr (Stiffler) Print Mary M. Stiffler Kerr, 84, of Summit Twp. , passed away peacefully Saturday, February 16, 2019. She was born in Buffington County in Indiana, Pa on August 26, 1934 a daughter of the late Zed and Tresa Rummel Stiffler.

Mary graduated from Cambria Public High School and went on to work at a shirt factory. She was a long-time babysitter in Summit Township and most recently worked as a sales clerk at Kaufman’s Department Store. She enjoyed all horticulture, especially daisies and pansies, cooking, baking, garage sales, and taking care of her house plants.

She was, along with her husband, a hummingbird aficionado. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter in law, Dottie Kerr. Survivors include her husband of over 64 years, Alfred Kerr; one daughter, Bonnie D. Beatty and her significant other, James L. Burke of Erie; two sons, Edward D. Kerr of Erie and Roger D. Kerr of McKean; and a special cousin, Dolly Yablinsky of Indiana, PA.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. , on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of services there at 6 p.m.. Burial will be private in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
