Mary Lois Biggs Turner, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her, passed away February 2, 2019. She was born July 13, 1924, to the late Robert Alvis Biggs and Bertie Biggs Spencer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Alvis Biggs; sister, Francis B. Ingram, and three infant sisters.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband of 73 years, Herman Turner; son, Bob Turner (Linda); daughter, Brenda Holt (Richard); grandchildren, Brian Holt, Aimee H. Hairston (Kevin), and two great grandchildren, Raaven and Nick Hairston; sister-in-law, Ann Turner; and step-brother, Belle Tawney. The family will receive friends Tuesday February 5, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the Wright Funeral Service Chapel with services at 2:00 PM with Elder Carl and Mark Terry. The family extends special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice, especially nurse, Nancy Martin.

We also greatly appreciated the care, concern and love given to her from the Haven of Rest Christian Adult Nursing Home, Karen and Keith Hicks and Ruby Amos, for helping Lois in the last years.
