Mary “Lorain” Pilant December 11, 1929 – May 08, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Mary “Lorain” Pilant, age 89, of Salem, Oregon, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Cedar Village Assisted Living Community in Salem, Oregon. She was born December 11, 1929 in Cassville, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Kidwell) Allison. Seventy-two years ago she was united in marriage to Charles Aubrey Pilant who preceded her in death on January 24, 2019.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Johnny and Chuck Allison. Surviving are one son, Chuck Pilant and his wife Pat of Shell Knob, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Lou Williamson and her husband Les of Salem, Oregon; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Angie, Lisa, Dean, Tracy, Julie and Sheri; twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Lorain grew up and received her education at Cassville.

Charles and Lorain spent many years in Oregon before moving back to Missouri after retirement. Three years ago they moved back to Oregon to be closer to family there. She attended Community Faith Chapel while in Cassville.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Pilant Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Randy Comer will conduct the services.
