Obituary for Mary Lou Chastain Mary Lou Chastain age 78 a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday January 6, 2019 in a local health care facility. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Susie Bramlett Poteet and was also preceded in death by her son Brad Chastain and her brothers Johnny, Ray and Billy Poteet. Mary was a very gifted artist making crafts, painting and photograph.

She owned and operated her own craft shop for a number of years. She was employed with American Uniform as a seamstress for over 20 years and also worked at M and M Mars. She was a member of Elkmont Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Joey Chastain and his wife Donna, her daughters Connie Calfee and Kathy Cecil, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, her brothers Kenny, Roger, Roy, Steve, Paul and Jimmy Poteet, her sisters Carolyn Wilson and Dianne Poteet. She is also survived by the father of their children Curtis Chastain. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave.
