Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery. Mrs. Gainey was preceded in death by her husband, William Emmitt Gainey; parents, Joe B. and Ethelyn Myrick; brothers, Clayton and James Austin “Jimmy” Myrick.

She is survived by her son, Austin Gainey of Richton; grandchildren, Charles Blake Gainey, Erik William Gainey and Toby Singley all of Richton; brothers, Tommy Myrick of Hattiesburg and Joe B. Myrick, Jr. of Jackson. Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
