Funeral services for Mary Webster, 68, of Clute will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Greater Mount Zion Church in Brazoria with Elder Roland K. Hendricks officiating and Rev. Samuel Nelson, eulogizing. .

Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas. She passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at CHI St. Luke Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson, Texas. She loved singing in the choir, cooking and playing softball.

She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley Webster and Mary Lewis; grandparents, Viola Lipton and Moses Lewis and sister, Virgie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, son, Leonard “Raynot” Nelson, Houston; daughters, Lennette Bell (Melvin) and Alicia Woodard both of Clute and Carla Terrell (Kenny), Freeport; sisters, Doris Williams (John), Englewood, Georgia, Eva Tanksley, Houston, Sandra Crane (Roy) and Carolyn Ward both of Freeport, Mazy Ross and Ina Bay both of Navasota; brothers, Riley Webster, Missouri City, Cecil Webster (Marsha), Brenham, Tyrone Ward (Edna), Richwood, Earl “Buddy Red” Ward (Linda), Lyndon Ward and Danny Crane all of Brazoria; grandchildren, John Woodard, Corey Nelson, Anthony Brown, Kentara Terrell, Jasmyne Harris, Rayleen Bell, Kenneth Terrell, Jr., and Aja Gore; godchildren, Franny, Danisha, Carlson and Keylee, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be James Moore, Shawn Gore, Corey Nelson, Rayleen Bell, Anthony Brown, John Woodard, Stacy Boles and Kenny Terrell, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyrone Ward, Melvin Bell, Kenny Terrell, Lyndon Ward, Earl Ward, Danny Crane, Leonard Nelson, Riley Webster and Cecil Webster. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. There will be viewing at the church on the day of the service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be no viewing afterward.
