Obituary for Mary Lynaugh Belleville Mary Lynaugh Belleville, 78, of Victor, NY and Estero, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She had been a seasonal resident of Estero since 2001. She was born November 2, 1940 in Canandaigua, NY, the daughter of Thomas John and Virginia (née Cone) Lynaugh.

Mary had a servants’ heart and loved to teach. She was a Latin educator at Bloomfield Central School District for 30 years. As such, it was fitting that the motto she encouraged her students to live by, CARPE DIEM – Latin phrase for “Seize The Day”- was embodied and embraced by her as she enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren and friends, and to all she loved and befriended along the way.

Mrs. Belleville is survived by her adoring husband of 52 years, Robert L. Belleville; her beloved daughters, Margery (Christopher) Hoff of Austin, TX and Carol (John) Mottes of Bernardsville, NJ; her sister, Ann (Craig) Benjamin of Edmond, OK; six cherished grandchildren, Samantha Mottes, Callie Mottes, Brandon Hoff, Conor Hoff, Ashleigh Mottes and Gavin Hoff; her niece, Stacy (Christopher) Bozarth; her nephew Matthew (Carrie) Benjamin; great niece, Gabrielle Bozarth; great nephews, Matthew Benjamin, Colby Bozarth, and Grant Benjamin; her brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald & Pam Belleville, and Richard and Janet Rose as well as many more wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Our Mary, Mom, Aunt “Mimster” and loving Mimi will be dearly missed. Funeral services and burial will take place in Victor, NY.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Ft. Myers, FL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Serenity House – 1278 Brace Rd.
