Obituary for Patricia Catherine Roberts Patricia Catherine Roberts (O’Grady), 87, of Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Formerly of Detroit, MI she had resided in Delray Beach, FL before moving to Fort Myers in 2005. She was born August 1, 1931 in Framingham, MA the daughter of the late Thomas and Rebecca (Price) O’Grady.

Patricia was a graduate of Wayne State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and was a teacher with the Warren Michigan School District. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Light Catholic Community where she volunteered with the EDGE youth ministry program. Patricia was also an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, food, animals, and faithfully loved and cared for her family.

Survivors include her loving sons (and spouses), George Kevin (and Melissa) Roberts of Greensburg, PA, Thomas Joseph (and Kathleen) Roberts of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Paul Uvanitte, Ashley Steele, Nathan Roberts, John Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Michael Roberts; and great grandchildren, Aiden James, Lucas Jordan, Nolan Scott, and Victoria Grace. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James George Roberts; daughter, Sheila O’Grady Crockett; daughter-in-law, Linda Love Thompson Roberts; and brothers Patrick, Michael, and Daniel O’Grady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967.
