Obituary for Mary M Morus Print Funeral Mass for Mary M. (nee Muster) Morus, 87, of Painesville, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.

(Family and friends are asked to please meet at church. ) Mrs. Morus passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Heartland of Willoughby.

Born March 19, 1931, in Cleveland, she had been a longtime resident of Geauga and Lake Counties. Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Chardon, where she was a member of the Bereavement Team at the church and helped at funerals. She was also a member of the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA in Chardon, volunteer at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, was an avid seamstress, enjoyed flea markets and garage sales, was a devoted friend and liked spending time with her family.

Mrs. Morus had worked for the Sisters of Notre Dame for many years. Mary was the loving mother of James A. (Diane) Morus, Elizabeth A. “Betty” Nock, and George M. (Barbara) Morus; cherished grandmother of Christina (Gordon), Pamela, Amy (Roy), Angela, Nicholas (Nicole), Joshua (Victoria), and Carol Ann; great-grandmother of James, Madalyn, Lillian, Dominic, Gianna, Alyssa and Hailey; sister of Ellen Craig; and aunt of nieces and nephews. She also leaves cousins and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George M. Morus; son, Charles M. Morus; parents, George and Mary (nee Bunch) Muster; and sister, Roseann Juleff. Family will receive friends at 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.
