Obituary for Milton A. Mackey Services for Milton A. Mackey, 96, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Robert D. Schuler will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the funeral home. Mr. Mackey passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Monday, January 21, 2019, at his home. Born October 24, 1922 in Fairport Harbor, he was a lifelong Lake County resident, having lived in Willoughby since 1963.

He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby. Mr. Mackey was employed in human res at the Ferro Corporation in Cleveland, retiring in 1986.

Survivors are his sons, Scott (Tina) Mackey and Brian (Linda) Mackey; grandchildren, Megan (J.J.) Leet, Shannon (Josh) Hagen, Jonathan, Emma (Mike) Richards, Samantha, Andrew and Tyler; great-grandsons, Trevor, Hayden, Parker and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Barbara, on October 22, 1994 and his daughter, Patricia Zimmer, on August 2, 2008. His granddaughter, Erin Mackey and his parents, Arthur and Sophie (Tuokkola) Mackey are also deceased.
