Obituary for Kathleen Spray Simone Services for Kathleen Spray (nee Custer) Simone, 68, of Willowick, will be held at a later date. Kathleen passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at Concord Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Wildwood, N.J. She enjoyed her spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, reading, and liked cooking.

Kathleen was the loving mother of Jaime M. (George) McCarley; cherished grandmother of Cameron McCarley and Riley McCarley; daughter of Spray Lillian (nee Potter) Ward; sister of Donna Steinle, Jim Custer, William Burrus, Teri Vette and Susan Schailey; and aunt of Daniel Steinle, Amber Carelli, Rosemary Burrus, Logan Steinle, Layla Steinle, Ayden Carelli, Ashton Carelli, Austyn Carelli, Jill Custer, Jimmy Custer, Jennifer Custer, Brodin Custer, Deegan Custer, Hudson, Roston and Aubrielle Dubravavich, Timmy Schailey and Tommy Schailey. She was preceded in death by her father, Elwood Custer. Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
