Obituary for Ruth M Kovach-Pinkerman Funeral services for Ruth M. Kovach-Pinkerman, 77, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Ruth passed away Saturday, Jan.

5, 2019, at her residence. Born April 20, 1941, in Cleveland, she lived in Cleveland before moving to Willoughby 50 years ago. Ruth was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and gardening.

She was the loving mother of Donna M. (Norbert) Brumbergs, Mark C. (Heidi) Kovach, Michael T. (Tina) Kovach and John F. Kovach; cherished grandmother of Adam, Cory (Emily), Stephanie, Hannah, Sophia and Andrew; and sister of James Kostelnik. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Kovach in 1984; second husband, John Pinkerman in 2003; and parents, Julius and Mary (nee Fontilla) Kostelnik. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby.
