Obituary for Lydia R Bordon “Together Again” Funeral Mass for Lydia R. (nee Bizon) Bordon, 76, of Willowick, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Fr. Steve Breck will officiate the Mass.
Mrs. Bordon passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. She was born Aug.
27, 1942, in Germany. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick, enjoyed gardening and was a very giving person. Lydia was the loving mother of Corina A. Bordon, Robert A. Bordon, Brian M. Bordon and Michelle M. Bordon; cherished grandmother of Rocco Corman; sister of Stephan (Roma) Bizon; sister-in-law of Marvin Cowan; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Umberto M. Bordon in 2018; sons, Roman R. (Suzanne, dec. ) Bordon and John J. Bordon; parents, Celestyn and Rosalia (nee Koszycka) Bizon; and siblings, Thaddeus (Kathy, dec. ) Bizon, Wladyslawa “Lottie” Rosgusz and Ursula Cowan.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
