Obituary for James E McArthur Private services were held for James E. McArthur, 59, of Mentor. Mr. McArthur passed away Jan. 13, 2019, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born May 14, 1959, in East Cleveland, he was originally from Euclid, and Jefferson in Ashtabula County, before moving to Lake County, living in Mentor. James was the beloved son of Betty L. (nee Gilmore) McArthur; dear brother of David A. McArthur, Karoline L. Ferencak and Beth A. (Darrin) Gaffney; and uncle of John, Leah, Morgan, Nathan and Sean. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. McArthur; and grandparents, James and Leona (nee Peterson) McArthur, Roy and Betty (nee Woodley) Gilmore.
