Obituary for Robert Louis Kaleal Funeral Mass for Robert Louis Kaleal, 86, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.

Mr. Kaleal passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Mentor Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Oct.

8, 1932, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 17 years. He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Mentor. Robert was the beloved husband of 68 years to Yolanda M. (nee Pompignano) Kaleal; loving father of Deenay A. (Karen) Kaleal, Robert L. (Cathy) Kaleal Jr., Grace Marie Kaleal, Cheryl A. Clarke, Susan M. (Tom) Griffith, and Brett A. (Donna) Kaleal; cherished grandfather of Deenay Jr., Robert III, Jerry, Eric, Marygrace, James III, Sean, Ashley, Brett, Jennifer, Thom and Danny; great-grandfather of Brianna, Anthony, Robert IV, Caden, Vinny, Giada, Gabby, Izzy, Milan, Joey, Nora, Nina, Emma, Julia, Emmerson, and Lucia; and uncle of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, James A. Kaleal; son-in-law, James Clarke; parents, Louis and Mary (nee Kabase) Kaleal; and siblings, Gerald Kaleal, Helen (Harold) Jones and Ronald (Blanche) Kaleal. Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
