Mary M. Maxion, 92, of Ambler, PA, passed away on April 29, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Emil J. Maxion for over 64 years. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 8, 1925 to the late Thomas C. and Mary A.M. (March) Morgan.

She received her B.A. at Hunter College in 1950 and her Master’s at Brooklyn College in 1957. Mary enjoyed teaching exercise classes at both the Y.M.C.A and Y.W.C.A.

She continued teaching at Concordia Active Adult Community in Monroe, NJ until 2014, when she was 88… Read More » years old. Mary also loved to travel the US and the world with friends and family. Along with her husband, she is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Glassen (Scott) of Somerset, NJ, Mary C. Maxion of Ambler, PA, her step-son, Roy Maxion of Pittsburgh, PA, and 2 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother Thomas C. Maxion. Friends and family are invited to a gathering to be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2-6 pm at her daughter Charlotte’s home, 14 Den Herder Drive, Somerset, NJ 08873. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bideawee.org, a haven for animals in need.
