Mary’s Obituary Mary L. McNeil, of Wynnewood, passed away November 8, 2018 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years. Mary was born September 20, 1956 at home near Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Jewel (Greenwood) Washington and O. C. Washington. Her parents moved her family to Oklahoma City where she attended schools and graduated from U. S. Grant High School.

Later she returned to the Wynnewood area and worked many years at the Pauls Valley High School. She was married to Charles ‘John’ McNeil in Marietta. Mary was a member of Mt.

Carmel Baptist Church and has made the Wynnewood area her home most of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, O. C. Washington; brothers, Lawrence Washington and Robert Washington; and sisters, Donna Gray and Debbie Washington. Surviving family include her husband, Charles “John” McNeil of the home; one son and his wife, Chadrick and Vanessa McNeil; Mary’s mother, Jewel Washington, two sisters and their husbands, Sharon Thomas, and Zeola Smith; two brothers and their wives, Richard Washington, all of Wynnewood; and Frank Washington of Seminole; a host of grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Wynnewood, officiated by Pastor Frank Washington, as Eulogist. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
