Sandy’s Obituary Sandy Pettigrew Doughty Walker, of Pauls Valley, passed away March 2, 2019 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years. Sandy Lou Pettigrew was born December 27, 1958 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Violet (Dehart) Pettigrew and Marvin Eugene ‘Gene’ Pettigrew. She was married to James R. Walker at the Walker School in the Walker Community on July 27, 2002.

She was a Private Caregiver and attended the United Pentecostal Church in Wynnewood. The Pauls Valley area has been her home most of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Eugene Pettigrew; daughter-in-law, Maranda Leigh Doughty; nephew, Brandon Pettigrew; grandparents, J. T. and Estelle Dehart.

Her surviving family include her husband, James R. Walker of the home; children, Jody Doughty of Pauls Valley; Randy Doughty and wife, Vanessa, of Stratford; and Amber McCracken and Fiancé, Chris Davis, of Pauls Valley; Jason Walker and wife, Tracy, of Oklahoma City; Rebecca Smith and husband, Mitchell, and Joshua Walker, all of Checotah; her mother, Violet Pettigrew of Pauls Valley; sister, Peggy McCarty and husband, Don, of Wynnewood; sister-in-law, Janet White and husband, Waymon, of Lawton; brother, Bobby Pettigrew and wife, Virginia, of Davis; and brother-in-law, Marvin Walker of Pauls Valley; 10 grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
