Mary Patricia Murphy, “Pat”, 77 of North East, MD, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Abbey Manor Assisted Living, Elkton, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 1, 1941, she was the wife of the late Walter G. Murphy who passed in 1988. Pat worked for many years as a secretary for Jodlbauer’s Furniture, Elkton, MD.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, boating and cruises. She is survived by two daughters: Dana Hagy of Sparrows Point, MD and Kathryn Lay of Havre de Grace, MD; three grandchildren: Jennifer McClure of Perryville, MD, Christa Carter of Rising Sun, MD, Jack Carter of Rising Sun, MD; and three great grandchildren: Alexia Waters, Morgan McClure and Nicholas McClure all of Perryville, MD. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
