Obituary for Mary Ponder Vickery Mary Elizabeth Ponder Vickery, 98, widow of Woodrow Vickery, passed away on December 25, 2018. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Herman T. and Theopheo Hempley Ponder, she was a retired employee of Blair Mills and a member of Washington Baptist Church. Surviving are one brother, Kent Ponder of Greer and one sister, Sara Tolbert of Greer.

Mrs. Vickery was predeceased by three brothers, Carl Ponder, Charles Ponder and Thomas Ponder and one sister, Thelma Jones. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Drew Hines. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. The families are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Baptist Church Building Fund, 3500 North Highway 14, Greer, SC 29651.
