Mary R. Cowen, 68, of Harris Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, Providence, RI, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 24, 1950 in Providence, RI, she was the wife of Marshall M. Cowen. They were married for fifty-years.

She was the daughter of the late William T. and the late Rita M. (Glynn) Kramer. Mary was a sales associate for Marshall’s Department Store, Cranston, RI, for twenty-five years until retiring. Mary is survived by three children; Marsha A. Donovan, Marshall M. Cowen and Vincent R. Cowen, a brother; Joseph Kramer, two sisters; Sarah Hebert and Rita Sebastian, five grandchildren; Angel, Ashley, Linda, Lora and Vincent and a great grand daughter; Kaykay.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm (noon) in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will be private.
