Mrs. Mary Sue Sauls Moran, 83, of Smoaks, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Pruitt Healthcare in Walterboro. She was the widow of the late William J. Moran. Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Little Swamp United Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 o’clock until the hour of service at the church. Born March 1, 1935 in Smoaks and was a daughter of the late Leon Sauls and Eutilie Carroll Sauls.

She was a retired department supervisor at Smoaks Manufacturing and was a member of Little Swamp United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered as a hard worker and enjoyed cutting her grass. Surviving are: her children, William D. Moran and his wife Vickie of Batesburg, John Moran and his wife Tonya of Waterloo, and LeeAnn Kinard and her husband Billy of Boiling Springs (formerly of Walterboro); grandchildren, Jeffrey Kinard (Kaylin) and Eric Moran (Kori); and one great grandchild, Hayes Estes Kinard.
