Obituary for Mary Stubbins (Lenderman) Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Stubbins (nee Lenderman), age 100, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on August 8, 2018. Daughter of Frances Catherine Lenderman (nee Parker) and Ross Miller Lenderman, Betty was born February 21, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout her life she also lived in Wilmington, DE; Westmont, NJ; Findlay, OH; Flemington, Marmora, Ocean View, NJ; and most recently in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Betty enjoyed playing cards, gardening, crocheting, traveling, and being a Philadelphia Phillies fanatic. She served her community as a Girl Scout leader, hospital volunteer, and member of the United Methodist Church. Betty is reunited with her square-dance partner, fishing buddy, traveling companion, and husband of 63 years Daniel Evans Stubbins, Sr

We would like our beloved matriarch to be remembered for her deep love of family and her endearing, sweet spirit. She was the devoted mother of Daniel E. Stubbins Jr. (Joann), Ruth Ann Stubbins, and Barbara Engisch (William). She adored her grandchildren: Daniel Stubbins, III (Barbara), David Stubbins, Dawn Guinn (Jeff), Wendy Woltmann (Bobby), Kristin McRae (David), William Engisch, Jr. (Elizabeth Nees) and Brian Engisch.

She was a proud great-grandmother to: Molly, Emily, Kyle, Danielle, Seth, Ryan Daniel, Landon, Jackson, Charlotte, and Eric. She was the dear great-great-grandmother of Benjamin. Calling hours for relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, August 18th from 10-11 AM immediately followed by a funeral service at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.

73 and Evesham Rd. , Marlton, NJ. Interment is at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Mercy Care, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC, 28401-7335 in appreciation for the exceptional care she received.
