Mathew T. Rood, age 37, of Conneaut died Saturday, March 9, 2019. Mat was born May 25, 1981 in Conneaut, the son of Thomas Rood and Diane (Blood) Arcaro. He attended Conneaut High School and worked for General Aluminum for many years and most recently at Maple Donuts.

Mat enjoyed listening to music, spending time with friends and family. He especially loved being with his two children Hunter and Raegan, who he loves so very much. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, step-father David Arcaro and step-mother Karen Rood.

Mat is survived by his mother Diane Arcaro of Conneaut, father Thomas Rood of Painesville, his loving partner Stephanie Eden of Conneaut, two children Hunter and Raegan Rood of Conneaut and brother Aaron Rood of Painesville. At the families request there will be no services held.
