OBITUARY Matilde Arismendez June 12, 1942 – September 30, 2018 Matilde Arimendez, 76, passed away on September 30, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 12, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. He will be remembered as a hardworking man and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be greatly missed.

Matilde was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Elisia Arismendez and his son, Matilde Arismendez, Jr He is survived by his wife, Estella; his sister, Alicia Aguinaga; his children, Sylvia Flores (Danny), grandchildren, Mary DeLuna (Freddie), Pat Martinez, Crystal Partidia (Antoinette), Jason Martinez (Amanda), Victor Martinez, Stella Gonzalez, Erica Morales (Issac) and Javier Martinez; 24 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8th from 6-9 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at 3:00 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. FAMILY He is survived by his wife, Estella; his sister, Alicia Aguinaga; his children, Sylvia Flores (Danny), grandchildren, Mary DeLuna (Freddie), Pat Martinez, Crystal Partidia (Antoinette), Jason Martinez (Amanda), Victor Martinez, Stella Gonzalez, Erica Morales (Issac) and Javier Martinez; 24 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
