Survived by daughter, Riley; son, Kyle; Matt’s extra daughter, Abby Jones; mother, Theresa; aunts and uncles, Pamela (Tom) Knotz, Sandra Connors, Debra Carlson, special uncle and friend Francis Carlson, Paula (John) Egan, Joan Barthel, Jane Reiter, David Hawk, John (Charlene) Hawk, Joseph Hawk and also loved by many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by father, Patrick; grandparents, Lawrence and Elaine Connors, Raymond and Elvina Hawk; aunts and uncles, Jean Barthel, Raymond Hawk, William Hawk.

Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery, Mpls. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) in Matthew’s name.
