Martin, Matthew T., 77, Johnstown, passed away September 25, 2018 at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born June 3, 1941 in Windber, son of the late Stephen and Mary (Kovach) Martin. Preceded in death by brothers, Julius, George, John, Stephen, Frank, Andrew, Adam, Billy, Chuck and Joseph; and sister, Mary (Martin) Piro.

Survived by former wife, Patricia Boyd; daughter, Diana Martin married to Logan Rummel; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tammy, and Logan Matthew, all of Johnstown; Carrie Rummel, of Florida; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Arthur married to Rebecca (Killinger) Martin, New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Matthew known as “Matt the Rat”was a Merchant Marine, Scuba Diver, enjoyed socializing at the local clubs, horse races, and loved to dance. Service time and day TBD.

Arrangements entrusted to Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, 219 Ohio St. Johnstown.
