Maura Maria Alveo, age 88, of Longwood, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. Mrs. Alveo was born on January 20, 1930 in Panama City, Panama. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Alveo was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Alveo, in 2009. She is survived by her daughters, Jilma Deter and Estela Alveo; son, Ricardo A. (Lina) Alveo; brother, Celso (Amelia) Zamora; sister, Lila Zamora; grandchildren, Ivan (Terri) Olmedo, Sheyla (Christian) Thompson, Eric (Madeline) Olmedo, and Santos (Wanda) Avalos; great-grandchildren, Ashley Olmedo, Chelsey Olmedo, Ivan Olmedo, Jr., Sebastian Olmedo, and Emily Olmedo; great-great-grandchildren, Tatiana Olmedo and Aaliyah Olmedo. Visitation for Mrs. Alveo will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the chapel of Gramkow Funeral Home & Crematory with the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
