Jones, 50, of Lynchburg, Va. , departed this life on February 17, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Jones Jr

He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Jones Morgan; and stepfather, the Rev Glenwood Morgan, of Amherst, Va. ; sister, Judy Jones (Tony) and brother, Chris Jones, both of Lynchburg, Va. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Community Funeral Home.
