Johnny Max Davis died peacefully at home surrounded by his family under the care of hospice. Mr. Davis was born April 1, 1931. He worked for Duke Power Company for 38 years until his retirement in 1987.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Betty Davis and by his oldest son, Steve Davis. He is survived by his children, Jackie Davis, Doug Davis and Joye Davis, their spouses, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He enjoyed a full life with his family on Lake Wylie.

He was loved and will be missed by all.
