Melani Annette Corbin LEAGUE CITY – Mrs. Melani Annette Corbin passed from this life Saturday morning, September 15, 2018, in Webster. Born June 10, 1973 in Dickinson, Melani had been a lifelong resident of Galveston County. She graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1991 and continued her education at College of The Mainland where she received an Associate’s degree in education.

After that, Melani began her carrer as a primary school teacher for the Hitchcock ISD. She was an avid reader, enjoyed singing and was always up for watching a good movie. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale William Thompson.

Survivors include her loving husband of 16 years, Joseph Corbin; mother, Jeanna Thompson and husband, Jack of Henderson; daughter, Jennifer Corbin of League City; brothers, Steven Thompson, Dale Thompson and wife, Beverly; grandmother, Wanda Hallsworth. Memorial services will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hitchcock, 6601 FM 2004, Hitchcock, Texas, with Pastor Lee Balinas officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
