Melvin Eugene “Gene” Eagle, 75, of Sanford passed away Friday March 18, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Lee Memory Gardens. Mr. Eagle was born in Lee Co. son of the late James L. Eagle and Eunice White Eagle.

He also was preceded in death by his sister Janet Futterman. Mr. Eagle is survived by his brother James Ronald Eagle (Melba) of Sanford; nieces, Rhonda Walley and Annette Lilly; nephew Paul Eagle; 5 great nieces and nephews, Derrick Neidworok, Damon Walley, Myranda Walley, Hailee Lilly, and Daryn Lilly.
