Merle Ray Madewell an Oklahoma City resident passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK. , at the age of 55. He was born January 17, 1964 to Leon James Madewell and Priscilla Jayce (Wray) in Witchita, Kansas.

He was a residential painter for many years. Merle was a LSU fan and loved Louisana, with all it’s fishing, alligators and outdoor life. “Swamp People” was one of his favorite shows and actually knew a lot of the cast personally.

He was known for his outgoing personality and kindness, especially with the workers at Walmart who all knew him by name.
