Perdue, 45, of Summerville, SC, a HR Specialist with the Department of Defense, died Saturday afternoon, February 16, 2019. His funeral service was held 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery.

Officiating Chaplin Brian Smith. Interment, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, followed with military honors. Memorials may be made to Freedom Church, 1425 Cypress Gardens Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 or to the Hollings Cancer Center, MUSC Foundation, 18 Bee Street, MSC 450, Charleston, SC 29425.

Mr. Perdue was born October 8, 1973, in Chicago, Ill. , a son of Douglas Ray Perdue and Brenda Louise Branch Perdue. He was a member of the Freedom Church, Moncks Corner.

He was a US Army veteran of Bosnia and Desert Storm. He had a huge heart and always wanted to help everyone, and he always put his family first. He enjoyed running, surfing, going to the beach, and fishing.

Surviving are two daughters, Kayla Perdue and Ashleigh Perdue both of Summerville; a son, Kevin Perdue and his wife Anestesia of Summerville; his father, Harold Glenn Wyatt of Pinson, TN; two brothers, Carl Perdue of Moncks Corner and Thomas Perdue of Salt Lake City, UT; a grandson, Able Micah Perdue; and a dear friend, caretaker and mother of his children, Angelika Perdue of Summerville.
