Michael’s Obituary Michael A. Spath, 68, of Maple Grove, died from complications of diabetes on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Mike earned his MBA from the University of St. Thomas and retired from Super Valu. He married Gretchen in 1972, who survives him.

Mike is also survived by sisters, Marie Beck and Marilyn (David) Tessier; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Sally) Ruffenach, Bernard Ruffenach and Thomas Ruffenach; sisters-in-law, Molly (David) Nelson and Jane (Greg Vivrett) Barbatsis. He was preceded in death by parents, Allen and Maxine Spath; sisters, Marcell Crowe and Monica Kasper. Memorial service to be announced.
