Michael Barry May, 78 Michael Barry May, 78 of New Boston, died Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born June 15, 1940 in Portsmouth, to the late Russell E. May and Mildred Grumme May Price. Along with his parents Michael was preceded in death by grandparents; John and Barbara Grumme and Lonnie and Dora May.

Michael was a 1958 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated from Capital University. He retired from the State of Ohio where he worked in the Department of Finance for 33 years.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Elks, Lodge 37 of Columbus. Michael is survived by cousins; Dave Morgan of McDermott, Susan Boling of Friendship and Barbara Gear of Hilliard, Ohio. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
