He was born July 6, 1940 in Perryville, MO son of William and Maxine (Flentge) DeClerk. He married Mary Bollinger on June 6, 1964. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2015.

Michael was retired Owner/Operator of DeClerk Cleaning & Restoration. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a church elder and served on many church boards. Survivors include one daughter, Michele Brown of Perryville; one sister, Mary (Jim) Cantino of Olathe, KS; two grandchildren, Derek (Jordan) Fuhrmann of Waterloo, IL and Taylor Brown of Ste.

Genevieve and two great grandchildren, Adalynn Blessing and Maverick Fuhrmann. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Michael John and one brother, Howard. Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville on Monday, March 11 from 11:00 am until time of Service at 1:00 pm with Rev.

Matthew Marks officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Memorials preferred for family use or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
