Michael E Hern, 62, of Zanesville Ohio passed away after a heroic battle with cancer on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Genesis Hospital. Mike was retired from New Bakery and graduated from Maysville High School. He enjoyed working on cars, playing pool, movies, and spending time with his love of 7 years, Holly Hennessy, 60, also of Zanesville.

Mike is survived by two children Katelyn (Nicholas) Hamilton Proverbs and Gwen Emler and a brother Dayrl (Donna) Hern. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Jerrold and Rowena (Vaughn) Hern, siblings Jerry Hern, Janelle Emerick, and Marilyn Hern. A Cremation-With-Care has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Westwood Baptist Church, 2395 East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio.
