Obituary for Michael G. Dragonetti Michael G Dragonetti, 55, of Freehold passed suddenly on Tuesday September 11, 2018. Michael is survived by his loving son Nicholas, caring brother John, his wife Lisa and sister-in-law Karen. Michael is mourned by all who loved him, especially his nephew Anthony, and his nieces Jessica, Alannah and Laurel.

Michael was predeceased by his son Michael in 2007 and his brother Paul also in 2007. Michael was born and raised in Brooklyn and served proudly as a detective in the NYPD until moving to Freehold. There he built a pest control business and coached his sons and the sons of others on the football fields of Pop Warner and St. John Vianney, Colts Neck and Monmouth Regional High Schools.

Michael was a devoted father. He loved to make people laugh. He loved coaching and mentoring young people.

Mike was an all around great man and will be missed sorely by his many friends, colleagues and the young men he coached. Friends are invited to pay their respect to the family on Sunday September 16, 2018 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 3 PM to 7 PM. A 10 AM funeral mass will be on Monday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold, NJ 07728.
